Making pages, printing books, credits and your account.

Making pages

What is ColorAstra?
An app that draws black-and-white coloring pages from a sentence, a photo or a name. You keep them in your own library, download them to print, and put them together into a book with a cover.
What can I make a page from?
A sentence describing the scene, a photo to turn into line art, or a name or word to letter. All of them start on the same Create screen.
Which styles can I choose?
Simple, Cartoon, Storybook and Detailed, from bold shapes for small hands to fine lines with lots to color. Every page can be portrait, landscape or square.
Do I have to wait on the page while it draws?
No. Pages draw in the background, so you can leave and come back. Each one appears in My pages when it’s ready.
What if a page comes out wrong?
If it fails to draw, the credits come back automatically. If you just don’t like it, fix one area or redo the page.
Do I need design or drawing skills?
No. Describe what you want in plain words and pick a style. Margins, trim sizes and cover dimensions are worked out for you.

Books and printing

Which sizes can I print?
US Letter and A4 for home printing, plus square and smaller trim sizes for printed books.
Do I get a PDF or an image?
Either. Download any page as a PNG, or as a one-page PDF on US Letter or A4 that fits the page to the paper.
Can I make a whole book, not just one page?
Yes. Give a theme, pick the ideas you like and they draw together as a set that fills a new book. Arrange the pages, set the trim size and margins once for the whole book, then add a cover.
Are the books ready for Amazon KDP?
Books use KDP’s common trim sizes, print-safe margins, and a cover whose spine is sized from your page count. Always check the print preview KDP shows before you publish.
Can I add blank pages between the drawings?
Yes, when you export a book. Many coloring books leave the back of every drawing blank so markers don’t bleed through onto the next page.

Credits and pricing

Is there a free plan?
Yes. You start with 50 free credits, about 16 pages, and no card is needed.
How do credits work?
A standard page is 3 credits, a high-quality page 6, and fixing one area 4. You see the cost before you press Generate, and every charge and refund is listed on your Credits page.
What if a page fails?
Credits are held while it draws and returned automatically if it fails. Your Credits page lists every charge and refund.
Do books, covers or downloads cost extra?
No. You pay credits for drawing pages and for AI edits. Books, covers, exports and downloads are always included.
Do unused credits roll over?
Monthly credits you don’t use carry over to the next month, up to one month’s worth. Credits from packs never expire.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Your plan runs to the end of the period you paid for, and the credits you have stay usable until then.

Using what you make

Can I sell the pages I make?
Yes, on any paid plan: print them, put them in a book and sell it. The free printables are for home and class only.
Can I use the free printables in my class?
Yes. Print as many copies as you like for your home, your class or your group. Please don’t resell them or post them elsewhere as your own.

Account and privacy

Do I need an account?
Yes, to make and keep pages. Sign up with Google or email, no card needed.
Who can see the pages I make?
Only you. Your pages and prompts are stored privately and are never shown in a public gallery.
